I have a question,

Would the Fiio E07K work well with my Logitech X-530 5.1 Speaker System?

Depends on what you mean by working well. It would do the job, but it will not be the best.

Not really, the 530 5.1 is designed to take in 6-channels of audio, the E07K can only pass 2-channels.

If you wanted to use for 530 for just 2-channels of "expanded" stereo, that might work.

If you want to improve the audio quality of the 530s, invest into an Xonar DX or D1 computer sound card (Used, $50-$60).

Thanks! I will check out the Xonar DX.

Edit: never mind, I have an iMac so the Xonar wouldn't work.

I believe the Creative Labs Omni 5.1 USB sound card will work with a Mac.

I have another question, whats the proper way to connect the Fiio E09K, Fiio E07K, Logitech X-530 5.1 Speaker System, Creative Labs Omni 5.1 USB Sound Card and iMac all together?

I never use the Mac computer and have never used the Omni 5.1

I'm assuming your Logitech X-530 came with an audio cable with three 3.5mm jacks on each end.

Connect the Omni 5.1 to the iMac using a USB cable, load Creative's Mac software.

Connect the X-530 to the 6-channel audio output on the Omni, using the Green/orange/black cable that come with the X-530, the center/sub-woofer and rear speakers channels should hook right up (Black and Orange?)

You will need a RCA (red/White) to 3.5mm female jack adapter, to connect the "front" speaker cable to the two RCA jacks on the Omni.

Any headphone you have can be plugged into the Omni's headphone jack.

You would have no need for the E09K and E07K.

So I should be able to drive the DT770 easily with this setup?
