Beats By Dre Pro Replacement

Thread Starter

Hey guys, I am new here, just registered.. I was hoping for some advice / recommendation on some great headphones to replace my Beats Pro as they are now extremely Beat(en) to death! :D

Now don't abuse me for having Beats By Dre, I like them, I like the type of sound they produce and was actually looking for some reasonably priced, high-end headphones to replace the Beats Pro that produce similar sound.

I am looking for headphones with:

- Ability to go so loud they are guaranteed to make you deaf (I like the option to be able to turn headphones up really loud like the Beats Pro)

- Nice subtle thumping bass

- Clear vocals and sound

This is entirely for home use and to be plugged into iPhone, iMac and Desktop Computer. I don't own a headphone amp or dedicated sound card so those headphones which require external amp is out of the question.

Now I am new to purchasing headphones, and as you can tell I don't know much or what brands to go for.

Please help me out and post your recommendations or advice!!

Many thanks!

Why would you want to go deaf?? Any headphones will make you deaf if you crank up the volume.

If you want good thumping and fun bass, but still having decent sq, have a look at the v-moda m100. I can't think of any other headphones for you. Its also gorgeous and you can easily customise it
