I think I'm just going to go for the M80's. They must be newer than the M50's which is why they only have around 300 reviews....all very good reviews though. Thanks!

look into the new Vmoda XS if you are considering the M80, seems improved in a few areas depending on your preferences, and a bit cheaper(?)

The Philips shl3300 are very punchy and sharp, balanced as well, maybe better than the m50/80...  Definitely cheaper.

I just received my M80's and they sound great but are very small. I like them but am not sold on the size.

How do they compare to the m50s soundwise?

They are way better! The treble is less harsh and they have phenomenal bass. I sold them to my roommate and picked up a pair of M100's from a guy who reviews headphones. They will be here Saturday so I'm really excited.

So I just got the M100's today and all I can say is WOW!! They are everything that I have been looking for. I picked them up for $175 using points I had on my Amazon card. I tried registering them and it wouldn't allow me to so I'm not sure about warranty. In your opinion is it worth paying $299 for the additional warranty? I can easily sell these and make a profit. Thanks for all the help!
