Wanting to spend $100 on a pair of Headphones.

Thread Starter

G'day,

I'm looking to drop about $100 AUD (give or take a little) on some nice Headphones. I'm wanting some full size over ear and not bothered about the Open/Closed back too much. I listen to a range of music from Pop to Death Metal so I really want something that sounds good under any kind of music. The headphones won't be leaving my desk, so I don't need something that's good for travel.

I'm located down under in Australia so where I can buy from is a little more difficult, although I am happy to buy something from Amazon or similar sites that will ship to Australia.

Thanks for reading, and I hope I can get some input on what I should buy. :)

Look into the Brainwavz HM5 and Fisher Audio FA-003:

Both use the same cups and drivers, but rebranded for different sellers, and there are others that do the same as well. Jaycar in Australia also has them: http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=AA2065

Otherwise, I suggest looking through the Head-Fi buying guide and the Innerfidelity Wall of Fame lists for other ideas:
