New member...Looking for cheap but decent IEM

Hey all, I've registered a while back but I haven't stayed for long.

The first and only IEM I've had was the Philips SHE3590. I have to say that I was really impressed with its sound quality especially its price.

I'm now planning to get another set of and a Sansa Clip +. I want to be able to but it from eBay or other international sellers but I prefer the former. Budget wise, I have a max of $50 to spend on the IEM's, including shipping.

Right now, I really want to get the SHE9700 because I really loved the SHE3950 but I also want a better construction. I think I'm a bit of a basshead but I also appreciate nice mids and treble. I listen to a variety of music but mostly rock and some of its sub-genres.

So I'd like to get recommendations for IEMs that have similar characteristic to the SHE3950 or 9700. Cheap but it has a very good sound quality. And don't forget the bass

Hi,

You should consider Vsonic Vsd 1 and Brainwavz S1.

Best Luck!

If you like bass, check on reviews of the Velodyne Vpulse. While it is out of your price range, you can now get what appears to be the OEM version from Penonaudio, the Donscorpio Bass Colour. I just got a pair, and they are absolutely fantastic sounding for a $35 pair of IEMs. smily_headphones1.gif
