looking for a set of IEMs that are worn straight down and feature a replaceable cable

Hi,

I recently purchased an AK240 and I'm looking for the best sounding pair of IEMs that offer a replaceable cable so I can get them terminated in a 2.5mm balanced connector to be used with the AK240.  I know I'm weird in this regard, but I don't like over-the-ear IEMs, I'm looking for a pair that are worn straight down.  I already own the excellent IE800s, but I'm not willing to buy another pair from ALO Audio that are modified to feature the balanced connector since they are not offering to mod existing earphones; only ones bought from them.  Price is not really a concern, as long as they are worn straight down and feature a replaceable cable.  Thank you for any help and suggestions.

To tell the truth, I have not yet encountered a 'worn straight-down' cable design IEM that has detachable cables. Not even in the high-end region, well other than the IE800 but that's only detachable after the split.

Fostex TE-05, Sony XBA H2, JVC FX850.
Hifiman RE600 already has a balanced TRRS connector.

JVC FX850 is great. But you must love bass or you might hate it.

Ah, I'm shying away from them then.
