Light Harmonic Geek Wave

So we should get a ton of impression from RMAF which is great - I'm dying to hear what the masses say, though this is obviously not the final product.

Yeah, as of now there is no other product I'm more excited for than the Geek Wave XD 128.

I'm excited and nervous. Them fixing the firmware for the Geek Out is a good sign, though. People who own it seem to be very pleased with what they have now, so I'm mostly excited. I wish I could hibernate for 6 months and then wake up to a knock on the door from FedEx.....I have to say I was shocked at how good my UM Miracles sounded with the Fiio X1, so I'm wondering just how much better the XD128 will be...I don't have much experience with totl daps - I think the closest to totl I've heard is the AK 100 II, which is hardly the best out there. It sure is nice-looking though. Now I'm hearing that Ibasso is going to release a successor to the DX100 next year...that should be pretty special.

Yeah, next year is definitely going to be harder than ever to choose a DAP.
Next year, not only will there be the "DX200", but also the FiiO X7 & Colorfly C4 successor!

Now I actually kind of regret not backing the XD 128 during the campaign.

I'm bringing my LCD-3F's to RMAF/CanJam so I can try out the GW audio section (and other gear as well) and am looking forward to seeing how synergistic they are.

See everyone else going in Denver next week!

Roger that!

On the plane on the way to Denver right now and will be sure to report back my thoughts to you all as I have the chance.

Am also on the hunt for a pair of TOTL IEMs/CIEMs that will be the equal of the GW XD128 Ultimate. Going to be spending a lot of time at the Noble Audio and JH Audio booths trying out their K10's and Roxanne's respectively.

I which I was going. I would like to know your impressions on the IEMs. I love my SE846 and Heir 8.0 universals and I'm wondering how they compare to the universal k10s.

No impressions as yet?

The analog stage is the only thing they're showing at RMAF for the Wave. But another member mentioned that it did a nice job driving LCDs.

Interesting. I was by their room three times over about 4 hours yesterday.. each time this had a sign up saying the room was closed for a private listening session.
I never got to see or hear anything.

While I assume they are showing off their new toys to the "influencers" it would REALLY be nice if some of the common folks could get a shot at listening to the equipment they backed.  I'm dying here.

That is exactly what I thought... they also had a sign in bold saying that Geek Force people were welcome... Just not right now.

Yeah I am a bit bitter. One of my main objectives in going was to meet them  at the show.

Well if I don't get the opportunity to get back over there... so be it.
Hopefully more than a few will at least get to hear something from them.
The analog section, isolated... not sure what we get. The system including the DSP is what I would love to audition.
