Is it worth buying an amp for these old speakers?

In the misc forum since these aren't headphones.

I found the speakers from my old Aiwa SX-FN4500 system.

The Specs are:

"Main Speaker" 40W / 6ohm

"Surround Speakers" (there are three on each) 20W / 16ohm.

I'm sure they're not worth anything, but they might be good for parties or something. What would be a good amp to pair these with?

If you think it's worth finding a 30-50W amplifier to power them, then I guess it would be worth it. I would think most integrated amplifiers/receivers from a known brand like Onkyo, Pioneer, etc. would do just fine.
