Time to get my first pair of good headphones, old hesh's are about done

So I have been looking around on YouTube for the best pair of headphones for under 200 bucks. I looked at the ath m50's and the m50x's I also looked at the v moda Lp's, lp2's and m100's I was wondering which was better between the ath m50's or v moda lp2's and if the difference between the lp lp2 and m100 is worth the price also the m50 and m50x. I listen to classic rock, hard rock and country. Please help and be specific and direct. Thanks

ATH M50's and ATH M50x's are virtually the same thing, minus the detachable cable that the x's have. M100's are definitely better than the LP's. Are you specifically looking for a closed back, or would an open back be an option for you? The real question is, are you using them as a portable headphone, or for home use?

both because I listen to music in my bed but I also travel a lot and I prefer that whatever I get doesn't leak a lot of sound. Also is there a big difference between the lp and lp2 and if there is is it worth the price difference?
