Under $250 over-ear headphones

Hello,

First of all I want to say sorry for my English . I am watching for a new pair of headphones over-ear for under 250$. I want to use them on the bus so they must have a bit of noise issolation. I also want to "fold them together" that I can store them in my backpack. I listen to electronic music but also to rock,... (A lot of styles). (They must be available in Belgium). Can someone help me to find the right ones?

Thanks,

Makkeproof

Are they closed?

Because else everyone can hear my music?

Yes, the HP100s are closed (you should be able to figure that out by looking at a picture of them), although they are fairly big. Not exactly my idea of backpack portable.

Since only someone from Belgium would have an idea of what is available in Belgium, you might want to start by looking at the Head-Fi buying guide:
http://www.head-fi.org/a/headphone-buying-guide

Then Innerfidelity's Wall of Fame lists are also a good set of headphones to consider. Each of the individual headphones in the list generally goes to a longer review:

Pick out some headphones from those lists that are available in your area, and then ask questions about them smily_headphones1.gif

Thanks for your reaction.

In the list was the "V-Moda M-80, $179-$220. Amazing build quality. Removable Cables. Decent Isolation. Deep bass with forward mids. Highs lack sparkle but extended. Very smooth sound. ". These looks good, but thet are not over-ear. Would the V-Moda crossfade lp be a good choise?  They can not be folded, but they have a strong case. So what do you think?
