Did you guys end up trying the portable over the ear woodies billymav stocks (think sound on1) I quite liked them (enough to impulse buy them). There was a pic of the somewhere above.

Ps great pics and looks like a great event wink.gif

The hm700 is quite impressive for the price actually. But the control was just horrible smily_headphones1.gif

Yeah, the HM700 is very hard to navigate. Personally, I find touch screens much easier to use and makes scrolling a lot faster.

It was a pleasure meeting all of you guys! Special thanks to Billy and Lin for making this happen. Thank you everyone for sharing your wonderful gear! I'll post more photos tomorrow... Gotta work tonight.

I tried them, after being told you were a fan.

Being told you were fan, I had to double check to make sure I was looking at the right product - portable, wood backed supra-aural headphones, and not some crazy multi-driver IEM.

Have to admit, I was very impressed! Dat bass. And they look nice, too. Could be good for travel.

Hey Jensy, if you ever decide to let go of the Alessandro shoot me a PM.

thx to all for a great time.

gikigill' stax SR-5 is my personal fav. Adele's - Turning Tables has the problem in my record to, but it can only be heard, if you know that is there. Unless the stax directly points to this flaws in the record.

The wooden MS-1 really suprised me. A did'nt realized that they can build good sounding headphones.

Haha - unfortunately mate, you would have to get in line, I've had quite a few people say this to me.

(If you want to borrow them at some point however, feel free!)

Yeah, the MS1 really does sound very good for the price. For some reason I didn't like the T1 at all.

Everyone needs to know that you are the kind soul I bought them from.

Thank you again.

Were your Mentors at the meet today? I thought I heard people discussing them..

Thread Starter

The Mentors are really excellent. A definite step up from the Miracles and that's saying something because I still love the Miracles. I'm not quite jealous because I enjoy the slight warmth of the Miracles compared to the Mentors, but the bass and treble, plus the overall balance from the Mentors is really amazing.

Thanks so much for sharing them with us, Scott!
