Tired of CD's. I am far too old and fat and lazy to be reaching around to my PC.

http://www.hdtracks.com/casey-abrams

That's where I wanna be, right? I have no idea how I missed this site but I'm in heaven right now. TAKE MY MONEY!!!

What other places exist?

Also, FYE or something like that opened up in the local mall. 1st time in 5 or 6 years I've seen a record store there. They have used CD's for THREE BUCKS! What is going on!? I am so happy to know that I know have a place within walking distance to browse music AND HDTRACKS!!!!

  1. See you... in a while.

Oh, the binaural music from Chesky (HDTracks) and the Bowers and Wilkins' Society of Sound Accidental Powercut series of albums is amazing.

That is WAY too much information for me to pour through. My OCD would kick into hyper drive.

This one?

I can't find Society.

I'm probably going to stick to HD Tracks.

K, the 2nd one I was able to listen a bit on Amazon and will def pick that up.

1st link is a BUNCH of albums. I only need one. Which would you choose?

THANKS!

Sorry about that, HDTracks updated their software recently and many links to it are now broken.

Thanks for your help buddy.

I'm just gonna get real here for a minute and admit that for years my music did not come from sources that were...well...you know. That came to a head last night when I started to break down and cry for all the WONDERFUL musicians who WORKED SO HARD to put themselves out there for me and never got a penny...from me. I went on a rampage and rid myself of all traces of such music, but I kept one song (Casey Abram's Get Out) as I have been listening to only this song for about a week now. I don't ever think I will tire from it. I promised myself I would make it up to Casey somehow.

Today I tried out the app on my Android phone for Amazon Music and guess what...$1.29 for this song. Of course I bought it...then Christina Perri - head or heart. Amazon made the recommendations and I stepped out on faith and they started downloading despite not having my card on file. I immediately chatted Amazon up to let them know about this and if I could give them my CC. After entering that info myself, he told me to wait a minute...

THEN HE SAID THEY WOULD BE COMPLIMENTARY.

My mind simply cannot get around this. Here I am...a criminal. The bane of humanity and yet this huge corporation is just going to GIVE me music. Well, I only had about $10 to spend on this, so I went ahead and picked up Timeflies - All The Way and Lea Michele - Louder. I cannot begin to express how wonderful these are.

What's more? I simply cannot tell the difference between a 1700 Kbps FLAC files and a 256Kbps MP3. :D

Thanks for all the help and I hope and pray for the best possible life experiences for you Currawong.

/tears

There is always the free FLAC file music sharing thread. I'm sure some of the links are outdated, but lots of them aren't:

My PC is now 100% paid music, yea! HDD w/ nasty files is going to be destroyed, lol!!! Not sure how tho. I think I'm going to angrily take it apart gently.

You have to convert your FLACs to ALACs to be able to sync them to an apple idevice.
