Looking for bass heavy headphones with slightly subdued highs and a certain look..

I'm looking for a pair of headphones with good, punchy bass that's brought out. Also slightly subdued highs, as they get really painful for me to listen to after short periods of time. (Razer Krakans left me tearing up after a small amount of time, if that's a good example.) I'm also looking for something that maybe not resembles, but shares qualities with the AKG K545's. They seemed good until I heard a pair, so harsh. The aluminum on them is awesome. Can someone help me out, I'm not the best about audio.

What's your budget? V-Moda M100's and NAD HP50's are both bassier options with forgiving treble and a modern look, but at $300 each. Those are both closed options, there are open ones as well if you don't mind sound leaking.

300 is my absolute maximum, I'd be more looking towards 250. Also, I forgot to mention that I was looking for closed, round headphones, if thats not too picky. C:

I can see why.. Im too scared to go into a thread that leaves me drooling over thousand dollar equipment.

The only other modern looking headphone that I can think of that would possibly meet your requirements are the Sennheiser Momentums, which can be had on Sennheiser's outlet store for $255.
