I haven't heard K545 yet. I still think you should look into HP50. If the chart is accurate, it will have the elevated bass you want (and probably pretty good too, given its reputation) along with better mids than M100, and not piercing in the treble. You'd need to ask a some fellows who've tried it. I am a little concerned though that the bass might be too much, so ask about that in particular.

Hi and THX!

I tried the M100 and definitely too much bass for my taste. Too "boomy" too...

The HP50 measurements look very close to the AKG 545 actually and I think I am so close, if not arrived :-) The HP50's is not distributed here. I can try in Germany tho (give me a second...)

AMAZON says 253 euros for the HP50, 203 euros for AKG 545. If only I could try them... :-( I think it is time to open a new thread: HP50 vs AKG 545, what do you think?

Thanks all, it will be one of these two I think, unless you guys have other ideas with the same sound signature.

Yeah. Above 20hz doesn't matter.

Now with the headphone graphs, then like I said, you can look at the relative db difference to see what's emphasized for the type of sound you want smily_headphones1.gif
