Wow Eric Clapton's Unplugged really shines with these cans. Feel like being engulfed with the song.

Agreed!

I had a hard time unplugging "Unplugged."

We do not have any tour or loaner programs since this is our first headphone product. We have traditionally just offered our players for direct purchase with the customer returning the product if they are not satisfied with the performance. We cover the shipping back to us, so the only thing yo lose out on (as a customer) is the original shipping fee.

Us creating a tour or loaner program is something that we are discussing, but have not yet determined if this will be something that we pursue in the future.

HeadAmp also is doing a tour on the HE-560. The exposure a headphone gets helps with buzz and should help sales.

Just my opinion.
That would be awesome!

I just queued it up for a listen with my PM-1's and new "alternative" ear pads.

The alternative pads arrived today.

Another great album with these cans is: "Amber Rubarth - Sessions From The 17th Ward (Binaural)".

The soundstage is superb with this album.

I really enjoy the PM-1's [with stock lambskin pads] rendering of drums and electric guitar riffs.

There's so so much there!

Well, let me introduce you the Supercharged Bakoon SCA 7610 Mk3 !!

This one by (very very) far is the best amp I ever heard for PM-1 (even compare to other bakoon like HDA 5210 mk3 or the standard version of SCA 7610 Mk3)

General impresions, it's sounds very smooth, open, large soundstage and incredibly liquid sounding.

Please, don't ask about the price for this mod :D (the mods include so many internal parts, wires, and bigger case)

Correct me if I'm wrong but that should be AK240.

I like AK240 a lot for iem use (can't think any better player), It's a good pairing with PM-1, but I still think it's not optimal yet. For the similiar price I like Chord Hugo more. (more power, bigger imaging, more liquid sounding). Well, to be honest so far I think pm-1 and hugo is really an awesome pairing, even more than my previous LCD-X. Ymmv of course.

Yes, it's a great recording.  Love the track "Tundra" and the amazing placement of instruments.

But as with ANY binaural recordings you WILL get this very different and realistic spatial cues and "soundstage" over normal 2-ch recordings.  However, this superb "soundstage"/"imaging" is BECAUSE of the binaural recordings itself and not the headphone.  You'll find it incredible even if you listen to it with any closed sounding iems.
