Thanks, wonderful build quality, solid as a rock!  The interface is very intuitive, no learning curve.  Tons of relay protection going on, dead silence when it should be.  So far I have tried the USB interface with a MacBook Pro running Media Center 19 and the HA-1 handles every type of file I threw at it.  Sound quality is on the money with PM-1's.

A quick video of the spectrum analyzer.  Music is Amber Rubarth.

You may want to post some pictures and impression over at the HA-1 Headphone Amplifier Impression Thread. Some people have been chomping at the bit for more information and impressions of the HA-1.

wow...that is gorgeous.  I hope other manufacturer's start to take notice.

Now how does it sound and how versatile is it...that's the question :)

Can't wait for the site to pick up new orders, very tempted to pull the plastic card when they do. It looks gorgeous and will work marvel with all my Apple gear.

First impressions vs the PM-1:

...

3. Sound a bit brighter than the PM-1.  - can't report a winner yet..way too early

More than a bit, less than a lot.  Very different sound, I'm still getting used to them.

Platinum body and Velvet pads? :D

PMs are better built and are a lot more 'finished".  More polished look, replaceable cables, two sets of pads, and (for me) a lot more comfortable.

I think Oppo is trying to be the only brand you ever need. World domination I suppose.

(I do like the PM1 and BDP105, both very nice for the money.)

purchased my balanced cable this afternoon but couldn't purchase the HA-1 cause it's already out of stock

got to wait until the end of this month

Same here, but I want the silver HA-1.  I figured I better get the cable now!

PM-1 is great for the money, compared to other cans in its class.  The HA-1 may also be as an amp/dac combo depending on the strengths of that amp. In any case its a beautiful package for someone just getting into the hobby.

World domination, forward march!
