Not true. VAT is 20%.And importing is same as it's Chinese, USA or UK.

Crazy in relation to USA, (Sales tax aka VAT, maybe 7-12%?) but not the differential Oppo are hiking up.

I'm noticing a groundswell of UK head-fiers getting annoyed at Oppo's tactics on this. Obviously just see a more limited market in numbers, so just priced it at Audez'e level?

The fedex center is about 10 minutes from my house. I may have to throw a fit in the same fashion as Mrs. TCG.

Can't you collect direct?

That happened to me with a camera lens from UPS took 8 day to get here from Idaho

Just talked to them and they said that everything is delayed and that the package would "probably" be delivered tomorrow. You are not allowed to pickup from the fedex center until they have made a deliver attempt which should have been today. Maybe they will let me pickup from them since it was due today.

Sorry to hear that, gotta be disappointing.

What can you do? They  basically have said, "too bad." They don't care about this delivery because they've already missed the deadline. So now the package has no importance all with them. They are focusing on the package that they are still trying to deliver on time. That's the way I see it anyway. I wish that I'd known about the delay so that I wouldn't have waited around the house all day.

Oh, well. Not the end of the world.

Maybe FedEx is monitoring this thread and was concerned for their delivery person's safety due to the impending ninja pounce. (Kidding.)

I feel your pain. I just got a new TV delivered this morning ... it took under 48 hours to move 1000 miles from NJ to Tampa, and then 11 days and 3 hours to move the last 90 miles. A very frustrating wait. We want to play with our new toys !!!

See if you can find out TODAY if they'll try to deliver on Sat, or whether you can pick it up. The trucks usually return to the local FedEx center between 6 and 7 pm, you might even be able to get it there this evening.

Sigh... this happens all the time...

Japan - Europe in 36 hours, stuck in customs for 5 days -_- so much for EMS ["Express Mail Service"].

I suppose this is inevitable to a degree, sometimes you're just luckier than other times

There has been some unusual and bad weather on the East Coast this week, so it is not surprising (but still incredibly annoying) that there will be some delivery delays for people living in Georgia and Florida.

FedEx Home delivery will attempt a delivery on Saturday. If the customer is not there to accept the package and there is a Signature Requirement, then a call tag will be left on the door. You can use this call tag to have the package held at a local station for pickup, redelivered the next delivery day, or redirected to a new address.

I think definition on the chart simply means high frequency detail.

I know some of you are very into making your own cables or purchasing after-market cables, so I am happy to report that we have updated our website to include a CAD Drawing for the PM-1/PM-2 2.5 mm headphone plug. This document should make it even easier for people design and create their own cables to be used with the PM-1 and PM-2 headphones.
