On my side I find that the soundstage is larger with the velour pads.

Imagine you could have only one of these, and you have a very good DAC and AMP that can handle both. Price is also a non-factor.

Soundwise, thinking as an audiophile, which one would you choose, and why?

It takes a lot of preparation at a young age for handling this task..
Which headphone. ..
Well its either preference or ability. .
So Prepping from a young age. .

I am ready..

The PM1 are too easy..
Gimme that heavyweight LCD-X
I man enough tongue.gif

I saw the HA-1 manual online today here via google search.

Oppo gave me the greenlight to use my PM-1 with my Mjolnir and now the only thing that I need is a balanced cable.

Yeah I know but I only have the Vali and the Mjolnir at the moment.

I had very good results with my Mjolnir and the LCD-X and the sensitivity of the LCD-X is also quite high so I'm hoping to have good results with my PM-1.

I'd think that the Vali would play very nicely with the pm-1.

You need to get permission to do that?

Yes it's a very good match so far.
