DIY cable to connectors for HD800 HELP!

Hello,

I am trying to attempt my first DIY on a set of cables which I have purchased here awhile back and set of connectors for my HD800.  However, I really have no clue which wire goes to which side of the small inner connector wire terminal?  Can someone point me to the right direction, please??  :confused_face_2:  I don't want to burn up my headphones nor the amp!

I have attached couple of photos of the cable and the inner of the connector!

The cable is by SAA.  One channel has red and black and the other channel has blue and white.  Am I to assume the red is right channel positive and blue is left channel positive, rest black and white being negative??  I am very lost, but willing to learn and try!  :L3000:  Any assistance is greatly appreciated in advance.  Thank you, Gary

Why on earth are you trying to do a retermination without doing any research first?  Now that I got that off of my chest (sorry), you can use a multimeter to test continuity between the end connector and the various wires.  If you don't have one, you could probably call or email SAA and ask what their normal configuration is.

Hi, I bought these cables awhile back, thinking to send them out for termination.  However, after couple of years of getting around to doing it, I have decided to give it a try, myself.  I asked for assistance here, due to many of the Head-Fi members here are very well knowledge in doing DIY such as this.  I don't think I have done anything wrong by asking and trying to learn!  Anyways, I have done more research and finished the termination yesterday!  These SAA's are one amazing cable for HD800!  :gs1000smile:
