I know this is somewhat a newbies question but it's important for me to ask: is it possible for some type of audio to damage the headphones?

I'll explain:

I have Audio-Technica ATH-M50x (very pleased) and as to some sound resources (especially youtube and some video files with lo audio quality) I can hear buzzing and crackling. Obviously these audio defects are part of the files themselves but they sound really bad as if the headphones speakers are about to burst. Is it possible that it can harm the headphones? Maybe the sound frequency can be too high or something like this? Or I don't need to worry about it?

PS - it especially happens in videos recorded by people cellphones in loud places (sound of compressed audio). When I turn the volume up on the headphones it sounds like the speakers are overloaded, cracklings and buzzing.
