Fostex HP-A8C to drive Fostex TH900 and Sennheiser HD800

Hi,

I think I settled at having both TH900 and Sennheiser HD800 as my cans and now am considering Fostex HP-A8C as DAC/Amp combo

to drive both. Will I be regretting this? I assume the fostex amp is great for fostex cans (anything else would be absurd) so my question

is actually if anyone has any experience in pairing HD800 with the fostex amp. I like the remote control especially about the amp.

As for sound preference: I like warmer full bodied sound with great vocal contouring.

Please feel free to provide your DAC/AMP recommendation (preferably a combo) for driving these two cans.

Thanks a lot

I'm really enjoying the Fostex with my Sennheiser HD800. There is no change when 2 headphones are connected at the same time (the other headphone i'm using is an old Denon -AH5000).

I used to use the Audiolabs M-Dac before, but wanted the option to connect two headphones.

Both are nice because you can use them to connect to an AMP without AMP in the DAC getting in the way. (just remember for the Fostx HP-A8 to turn on direct mode). But for headphone the headphone AMP in the unit is fine.
