Op Amps for Subwoofer

Thread Starter

Hi guys,

I have an Asus Essence ST with monitors and a sub. I do not use headphones or surround. My H6 has 3 op amp slots dedicated to the subwoofer/center channel. I only use 2.1 so center channel quality does not matter. My sub is cheap so I'm wondering if I can extract more out of it by replacing the lm4562 and Jrc2114d with some op amps known for great bass. Cannot be more than $5 per chip though. Opa 2134/2137/2107 get some good bass praise. Let me know what op amp you would put with a dedicated sub out. Thanks.

I would opt for the AD826 if you can pick them up cheaply. Best bass for the money.
