More treble presence but that towering sound is amazingly energetic and alive.  AT uses this new title on these earphones.  Sound Reality.. On great live recordings these make it sound like you are in front row..Jackson Brown Live and various Unplugged albums and you got your front row seat..

Uniqueness in the sound is one thing but the sheer ability of the earphones has got me giddy.. The bass on these phones are superb. SUPERB!! These decidedly sound high end to my ears with a surround type presentation that engulfs your senses with music...Just an amazing sound you will not forget once you hear it.

Thats why i wanted people to purchase the re700s.

It has the most refined bass in a headphone, while incorporating the silkiest mids. The bass was powerful, tight, controlled, crazy and impactful while being speedy!

Its a pity there is sibilance in the uppermids though. These ckr earphones, however, corrects that ten fold!

I swear, the soundstage itself makss this earphone so addicting to listen to. Thats also adding the thick and detailed mids with the prettiest treble i heard of.

The soundstage also varies, like from your example, you go from front row to the back row skmetimes, depending on the recording!!

I assume they kick the " heck" out of the CKS1000 then. Quite a bit more but who cares if they are that good.

I think the CKR7s from what Danny has been messaging to me would compete well with the CKS1Ks if not actually more capable than them. I will compare them to the CKS1K once I get them myself.  These CKR10s are on a level of their own.. I am happy to report the CKR10s are completely new in every single way to AT. The sound tuning for what it does is amazing..I tested out my micro detail tracks and these won that bout with ease.. I tested my sound staging and separation tracks and again these make a joke of every tune I have thrown at it. With this level of proficiency and detail you also get this sound staging that just surrounds you with music.

You know you have something very nice when a phone makes you jump to your favorite tracks just to hear it played through the phone.. That is what I find myself doing with these..

These don't just stack up to my best in ears. I am starting to wonder if this is the best sound I have ever heard from AT at this point.

Not to mention earphones for the gaming aspect.

No more bas for me, no more hybrids either.

Its all about this push-pull earphone. smily_headphones1.gif

Microdetailing is one of the best ive heard dynamic wise. It even mimics a ba's fascinating ability to produce microdetailing. 😁

I trust your enthusiasm for them and I'll be grabbing a pair as soon as it is available.

How can you judge it without listening even once?! lol

You remind me of those guys who believe that the Vsonic VSD1 has 80% of the GR07's sound :D

I tried CKR7, CKR9, and CKR10. Only interested with CKR9, best of the 3.  Will write review soon for CKR9.

All 3 were terribly sounding out of the box, but after around 5 days continuous burn-in, they changed significantly. So really cannot judge or even estimate their sonic character, out of the box.  Only after 5 days burn-in their true sonic signature revealed.

Never heard other IEM that change so much after 5 days burn-in, as much changes as the CKR7, 9, & 10, especially the 7 and 9.

I hope you liked the 9s.

To me, it was beautiful sounding out of box.

Yes definitely!  I really like the CKR9.  One of the best AT IEM I ever tried.  Their dynamic quality is awesome, the best I ever heard from an IEM so far.

Out of the box, the treble was glaring for some recording, and sound stage rather congested.  But after burn-in, treble become very smooth, no glare or peaks, very smooth.  And sound stage is no longer congested.  So I prefer it after burn-in.

If you have, try with Yulong DA8.  They match so beautifully :D

I will cover later in my review.
