Crossover/volume control device for under $50

I want a device that lets me output from my DAC into it, and then split it into a sub and speaker out, both with crossover. I also need it to control the volume of both. EQ would be nice too. Line level out would be a plus too.

$50 or cheaper, I prefer Amazon Prime, or Amazon in general.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Not sure about good volume control sold on Amazon for <100$, but these two looks good

Crossover is a must. Neither of those do crossover.

I've never heard of anything for $100. This is the cheapest device I know of: http://www.minidsp.com/

Of course, if your speakers are passive, this would work great: http://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/denavr1513/denon-avr-1513-5.1ch-home-theater-receiver-3d-ready/1.html wink.gif

Denon Home theater ?

doesn't it hamper the SQ, if we already have quality Amp and DAC

I just added a dbx223sx to my powered monitors + active sub. Its about $180, plus I spent another $20 on the rca->XLR male and female cables to patch it in. Im totally stoked with result... The sub handles the cannons in the 1812 and I no longer see the woofers on my monitors try to jump out of the speaker.

The cheapest alternative I can think of is the Behringer cx2310 which is still $80 and you need the necessary patch cables.

Maybe you find something used for cheap on ebay?

Cheers

Most of the stuff with EQ now will have DSP, so it will be converting from analog to digital and back to analog again.
