Merely a standard, so whether future music devices will even bother supporting this 'standard' or not is unclear, esp. since many 'modern' music players already, natively support these sampling rates and bit rates. Also, they don't even cover 192Khz+ sampling rates, so it's hard to say if this is even a true 'high resolution' standard being announced.
