Need help to find good looking but also good sounding IEMs

Hello,

as my old pair of IEMs broke, I need a new one.

As potential candidates, I already selected:

-SMS Street by 50 In-Ears
-Noontec Rio
-Monster Diesel Vektr (Actually my favorite at the moment)
-Klipsch Image S4 (The design is more than ugly in my opinion)

Im mainly listening to electronic music and hip-hop.

I'm hoping to get help, sorry for my lack of english skills as I live in Germany.

Greetings

I assume you're also open to the idea of headphones, and not just IEM's (In-ear Monitors), as two of those listed are not IEMs ;)

No idea about the IEMs as I've not heard them, but I would suggest having a look at:

- Sony MDR-1R (looks absolutely gorgeous, but maybe not enough bass for your music)

- Monster DNA (sounds a lot better than the Vektr - great for all genres)

- Skullcandy Aviators (for the current price they should not be ignored)

- UE6000 (probably the most bass quantity, but not the best sounding headphone mentioned here)

"Good looking" and  "good sounding" are very subjective. And few IEM's are built to be esthetically pleasing since they don't really show that much. I think the best idea would be to find some on the interweb that you find pleasing esthetically and then do you homework and check out as many reviews as possible to get an idea of their SQ. Of course that isn't as good as auditioning them yourself. My best sounding IEM's are, to me, my ugliest. YMMV

Actually, all of my listed headphones are IEMs. There is a monster diesel vektr in-ear too if you are wondering ;)

I am not sure about the DNA in-ear. Is it better than the monster diesel vektr in-ear?

At the moment, I am looking at some products like the DUNU DN-23 and the Soundmagic E10 as they appear to have a very good price-performance relation.

Ah OK - I didn't know they did Vektr Diesel IEMs.... that's not a very good marketing strategy if you ask me :p
