Headphone for gaming, some music.

Hello everyone. This is my first thread here on head fi, and I was looking for a pair of cheap headphones for mostly gaming and a little music too (Classic rock, Metal, EDM, and a little hip hop.) My max budget is $100 (I know, not much) I want something that is good at Highs and Mids, yet still has bass that allows for a fun gaming experience. I was thinking of the Sennheiser HD 429s http://www.amazon.ca/Sennheiser-HD-429-Headphones-Black/dp/B0065VKQ34/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1396133733&sr=8-1&keywords=sennheiser+hd+429, ot maybe the Sennheiser HD 518 http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0042A68R8/ref=s9_simh_gw_p23_d0_i4?pf_rd_m=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=14V6WQC882M10Q3YGCJ2&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1687860482&pf_rd_i=915398.

Thank you in Advance

P.S. I live in Canada so the price may be different.

Look into the Fischer FA-003 and Brainwavz HM5. There are a number of incarnations of this headphone, all of which use the driver and cups, so same sound (one manufacturer makes them):

You might be able to find a good deal on one of the branded versions in Canada.

Those both appear to be too expensive for my budget. I might be able to go slightly over 100. I found these while browsing amazon. Any good? http://www.amazon.ca/AKG-Circumaural-Closed-Back-Stereo-Headphones/dp/B00187PRFC/ref=sr_1_9?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1396134732&sr=1-9

Those are not the only two branded versions of that headphone--just the most well known. You might ask in those threads if anyone knows of any good deals in Canada. I can get the NVX version of that headphone here for $80. For a while, one could order the Jaycar brand of them from Australia cheaper than they were in the US. So you gotta do some research if you are interested in them.

I believe that the NVX Audio XPT100  are a clone of the ones he listed.  They should fit into your price range.

Hmm, also the Jaycar Pro Monitor headphones are another clone of those.  They might work, but I understand the shipping can be annoying.

Edit - Well, I should have refreshed. Haha.
