Best £100 IEM: Shure SE215, Klipsch X10i

Hi!

I'm looking to upgrade from my cheap but serviceable Soundmagic E10s.

From looking through various reviews and threads on this site, I've come across a couple I like the look of:

Shure SE215

Klipsch X10i

Both retail for around £100 in the UK, whilst in the US there seems to be a bit of a gap: SE215 around $100 (cheaper than in the UK) and X10i for $250 (more expensive than UK) I understand price isn't everything.

So, I was wondering which of the two you guys think is best?

From what I've read, the Klipsch might win on sound quality - I often see them compared to the higher-end Shure headphones like the SE315 or SE425. However, the build quality of the SE215 is apparently much better, with a good cable (as opposed to the X10i's thin and weak cable). I don't much care for the mic + controls on the X10i.

I'm leaning towards the X10i...

Of course, please feel free to recommend outside the above two models!

Thanks!
