Just a couple of grand champ, peanuts.

In saying that....But by hell...If I had the cash to splash ...They would be in my ears already.......I know how good the 1plus2 is.....So I reckon the Ref1 will be quite special.....

It's all quite logical depending how you look at it maquire. $1650 USD is equivalent to approximately $1.05 Head-fi currency and expenditures.

So it's totally fine to spend this much, depending which angle you come in from.

Hi Maguire,

I was in Melbourne last week on vacation and we've just missed each other (then I can let you have a go of my 1Plus2 with Uber)  as I have the 1Plus2/Uber accompanied me for the entire journey.

Yes, the Ref.1 is something special like the 1Plus2 but in a different way.

Even if you have the cash still you need to wait for delivery and not sure how long the line up is going to be.  I might get mine mid next week.  Fingers crossed.

Cheers

Yes. Back home on 4.29.  Me and my wife spent a week in the Melbourne/Great Ocean Road areas and it was fantastic.

Uber...you shouldn't own the 1Plus2 or Ref.1 without it.  Your phones will only perform some up to max. 60% of its potential without the uber.  That's how I'd describe this special cable.

Do you know of any cable that is on the same level as uber for the tralucent iem's that is suitable for portable use?

I have Toxic Cables SW & Virus but I did not try them when I had the 1plus2 on the Aussie tour, as we were having difficulties with the cable coming loose & I did not want to aggrivate the situation any more....Great Ocean Road is awesome, pity we have not been having some good weather. Bit like the Uber cable & sunny days .....only 60% of its potential......
