Yeah me too... looking everywhere and can't seem to find them. I want them for my DITA.

It will be great to read your comparison between the Ref 1 and ANSWER when the Ref 1s have settled into their sig.

As long as you can maintain uber in its natural curving shape or straight (do not snap) then you'll be fine.

Of course, it is inappropriate to use uber for jogging/high motion activities.

At work, I have the luxury listening to music most of the day (if there is no meetings) and do the burn in that way.  So, over a day I could run the burn in for some 12-14 hours.

During weekend, I'd left the set up runs at home when I'm out.

To your question, I don't think it is necessary to let the Ref.1 a rest.  I did the same process for whatever new headphones/IEM (even though not too many like other fellow head-fiers) and no problem to run continuously.

Cheers

I see.

But do you think the DAP itself needs a rest in between after prolonged periods of running (1/2 weeks)?

Nope.  It's an electronic device and operates at very low voltage.

Maybe the dap will feel sad and not cared for if it has to work non stop? Joke

Those that are using the Ref. 1, what tips are you using?

I am using the large Sony hybrids. Perfect fit and the smaller opening seems to improve vocals over the wider nozzle openings. They are quite similar to the ones included with the Ref.1 but are softer, hence an easier seal.

Varies by insertion depth. When I had GR10s, I used a med but when I tried 1p2, it was a large.

Yes! Maybe i am talking nonesense, but it occured to me that with Large size tips not only the imaging is not tilted to the right side and also the sound feels like coming from the front. It feels more natural this way like sitting in front of speakers and let the sound flows to you...
