I'll be able to provide some impressions, and a bit of a comparison. Stay tuned! And eager to hear this fabled AK240 + Hugo combo.

Talking about a small world, just got my RWAK240 in. Will be pairing the Hugo about burning in for a week or so.

It will be interesting to hear if the RWAK240, with it's "improved" headphone-out (as compared to the AK240) still can get better SQ by being connected to a HUGO.

Indeed, when connected to HUGO, there is no advantage having a RWAK240 v/s a  AK240.

Will definitely be running some comparison after the RWAK240 run in a bit. Waiting for the DHC Complement 3 with 2.5mm balanced adaptor to come in so that I can also test the balanced hp out (Peter should be doing it this week hopefully:))

Or Just get both :normal_smile : They are both excellent IEMs worthy of being collectors' items. Only thing is you cannot be listening to both at the same time... If only 1plus2 and Ref 1 can be built into the same IEM shell and toggled between them via a switch. Something like the Vision Ears VE6 X-Control or the Noble Audio's FR/PR Switch IEMs. That would be superb for just carrying 1 IEM out on the go and change between the 2 TOTL signature whenever you like.
