Shure SE215 vs Sennheiser Momentum On Ear

Thread Starter

Looking to upgrade from stock headphones and I just want to know if the quality of sound is better on the Momentum On Ear or the Shure Se215. I know one is a in ear and the other is an over the ear but I am looking in to getting a portable headphone that I can use on a bus. I have read that the Momentum On Ear don't block out ambient noise well so is going with the Se215 a better option? I am going to be pairing the headphones with my ipod 5th gen. If I need to get an amplifier to get the best out of my headphones then I will buy both headphone and amplifier.

You won't need an amplifier with either of these headphones.
