Searching for cheap (~ 40€) in-hear earphones

Hello! My Brainwavz M5 just died: probably the right cable partly disconnected from the transducer. It was my second M5 pair.

Now i'm searching for a substitute pair and this time I'd like to change: maybe I'm just unlucky, but I noticed too many manifacture issues with M5. Can you help me?

I'd like to go for some in-hear with a bit of emphasize on basses, but I accept every advice. I mainly listen to alternative rock/rock in general/a bit of metal/post-grunge/post-rock/instrumental

Unfortunately I can't buy multiple pairs and just try, that's why last time I just stayed with M5, whose sound I pretty much like (or, let's say, I get used to)

Thank you ^^

Maybe the Urbanears Krasen will do you good. They have great bass. Real sleek looking too.

thanks for the advice, I'll read some reviews !

By the way I noticed that their frequency response is pretty "flat" and I don't know if I should search for a more "equalized" one.

edit: Unfortunately I think I should avoid them because of the shape. One of my ears is a bit "strange" on the inside and i'm afraid the outer part of those earphones would not fit since it seems created to lock perfectly in the auricle.

I don't know what the M5 sounds like but as you mentioned you want emphasized bass, I just read a review by Joker regarding the T-Peos Tank which may interest you.

The SoundMagic E10 and VSonic VSD1 are also mentioned in the same review and I think both of these are also worthy of consideration.  Hopefully it will give you some ideas on what to get.  All can be found for around 40 euros or less.

I dont have much experience with IEM's or with headphones in general, but i would recommend the Philips SHE3580 model, its on the list mentioned here. While i think its not the best headphone in your price range, its a very good headphone for the price.

I got my pair only for 8 euros ( around 10 dollars ) in discount but the price is usually low even when not in discount.
