Lets hope it's not the train station from The Matrix (Mobil Ave aka Limbo), else you will have to ask the mods for permission to leave! ;)

First impressions maybe, please?
I mean, when you took off the 560 and put the PM1 on, that's the time when you hear differences the easiest.

I'm sure Frank is trying to find a way to diplomatically compare the two without causing another storm, hehe.

The impending storm is inevitable..
Blame it on the manufacturers, not Frank. Ha

Well the PM-1/2 and HE-560 are direct rivals...

That said, I am genuinely curios about the 400i as well :D

But right now it's Oppo vs HiFiMAN. Go!

I am pretty resigned to the likelihood that I will own both the PM-1 and the 560.  Not right away, but I really want to experience both cans.

It is too early for the Oppo comparison to the hE560.  They are both serious contenders but different in many ways and before I really compare them side by side I want the finished HE560.

Both these headphones will have a full review with comparisons coming the upcoming weeks.  The differences will become more apparent when the Oppo is fully burned in and I have listened for more hours but it is good, and getting better with more time and hours put on thecans. I know everyone is anxious with two new stellar products but the new HE560 is not here yet so lets see what that brings to the table also.

Patience is something we all need to get stuff right. I am not ready to make full comparison as I only got the P1 yesterday. I dont know the products strength and weakness well enough yet. It takes time to properly do evaluations and to get it right. It would only be fair to both the manufacturers and our members to give you the best comparison I can give you subjectively. I cannot do that yet and I did say they were both contenders.

^^ I guess that I'll have to call that a teaser and wait for the review.

I can sense some tensions and conflict of interests.

I am sorry but evaluating/comparing  two headphones shouldn't take more than 10mn, unless they both sound incredibly similar.

I disagree, it takes time to adjust to a certain sound signature. And if he wants to take his time then he should.
