Sennheiser PC360 - Superglue?

The volume dial from my PC360's popped off after a warrentee return from Sennheiser.

It looks like it was secured with superglue my their technicians at re-assembly.

Is it normal for Sennheiser to use superglue to put their products together or should I demand a replacement set?

After a warranty return? Are you saying that you sent your PC 360 back for warranty repairs and when your received it back from Sennheiser, the volume wheel came off ?  If so, I would definitely contact Sennheiser for a solution.  I have two pairs of PC 360s and not had any problems with either.

Not sure about the superglue thing but I would think that the volume wheel is injection molded plastic that mates with a stub underneath it.  It should not need any glue.

Agreed, and I sent it right back today!

The Sennheiser contact point was very upset with their technical division, and has promised to remedy asap.

Edit: And yes, this problem came from the Sennheiser workshop -.-
