I am first time here, looking for a portable player to replace my phone.

hello, everyone

I am a newbie in this field. I usually use my LUMIA 1020 as music player but it looks lack of power to driver my earphone DENON AH-C400 compared with connecting to my laptop(Surface Pro). When the song goes to high pitch, I felt the voice fall behind the music. When I connected it to laptop, the voice goes in front of music. So I think the reason is about the power output.

I am now looking at Sony F887, it has good UI, size and design. But I don't know if it has more or equal power output than my laptop.

I know there are some good players like FIIO X3/X5, IBASSO DX50, all of them are powerful enough to drive my little earphone. But I prefer a player has a friendly UI with fair good sound quality. That why I looked at F887.

PS: ZX1 is too much money for me.

Sorry for my poor english.

Thanks

Thanks for suggestion.

I did consider ipod touch and ipod classic. But I don't want to use iTunes. And I am not sure its power output is enough or not.

Sometimes it is not easy to find the spec. of each machine

What I known is the headphone output of F887 is 10mv/channel, it seems to be good enough to drive my 43ohm earphone. But I cannot find the headphone output of Surface Pro. It drives the earphone very well (just my thought).

Maybe I got the wrong way because I have a little knowledge on this field.
