You can say goodbye to Havi, but he will always be there for you, waiting like a loyal friend...;)

I was just wondering if any of you can compare it with the Zero Audio bassos and tenores? I was torn between these 3, but I finally decided to buy these when I read from some post that it is better than the gr07 which I used to have.

Which is better in terms of soundstage and details?

I just want to know if I made the right decision :). Sound stage and presentation and detail retrieval are very important to me. Will use my alcatel scribe HD as source but planning to buy an X5 in the very near future. Any input will be greatly appreciated!

Basso would be substantially more bass than Havi B3, and Tenore would be more bass than Havi B3.  Havi B3 should have more detail than Basso and Tenore, but not sure about soundstage.  Tenore does have a huge soundstage.

My friend said Ostry KC06 has more detail than Tenore, but Tenore has punchier bass and bigger soundstage.

Today I am giving a chance to KC06 again... But man... there is nearly no soundstage depth with the KC06! I should have bought a backup B3 or wait for the B6 or KC06A instead...

(Its like listening with a simple stereo headset. But without projection in to the 3D image)

The M200 is on the same level as the Havi, but in different areas.

The bass is much more prominent and has that smooth layering on the M200, where the soundstage, imaging, mids, and highs are much better on the Havi.

The fit of the M200 made me get rid of it. I couldn't take it after awhile. I'll never get rid of the Havi, simply because of it's soundstage magic that I haven't heard from any other IEM.

Thanks bhazard for the info. I think I have seen the similar results from another user. Or may be it was you... Don't remember...

In my case spending another 65 usd for another iem (kc06) turned out to be waste of money... It only healed my curiosity but not my brain. I am thinking of upgrading my dap because of the potential I feel under these Havi's. May be a DX90?

Well, I am old school - and dap ( Digital Audio Player ? ) does not score high on my Richter Scale. Havi B3 are good enough to use even with the best of analog sources. No idea what DX90 might be - but I would consider getting http://www.head-fi.org/t/683406/ifi-audio-nano-idsd-announced + a smartphone capable of using it with DSD recordings. DSD enhances the already extraordinarily good soundstage of B3 even further.

How does the Havi B3 Pro 1 sound straight out of a cellphone and laptop?

It REALLY needs a good amplifier.

It easily beats mh1c, and beats ie80 and kc06 straight out of an i9100. But I have to use woodoo louder which amplifies the sound through hacking the hardware setups of the i9100 soundchip.

I will search and read your suggestions @analogsurvivor! Dx90 is a digital audio player from iBasso. Thanks.

I used my Asus 1005HA netbook - it is not enough for the "normal" phones, let alone B3 Pro 1. Dynamics, and above bass, takes a "hit too far" .

Think of a fashion model, anorexic enough for your first thought after seeing her, is to be getting her some/any food ...

Quite some phones are "power plants" compared to 1005HA netbook - so it MIGHT be possible .
