Looking for a USB interface with mic input, seems like your looking for a USB sound card and headphones to go along with it.

Do you have a budget for the headphone + mic + USB sound card?

Is this setup for music? movies? gaming? office work?

My budget is more or less 50€, for sure under 100€, I'd use it mainly for VOIP calls, and sometimes for music... Do you suggest to buy an USB sound card and an headset with standard interface, instead of something like this http://en-de.sennheiser.com/images/1549/all/square/6224/square_stage_sc_260_02_sq_sennheiser.png?

At your budget, might as well get the Sennheiser SC260 USB headset (hopefully on sale).

Trying to piece together separate headphones + mic + USB sound card might go over 100 Euros,

I'm in the USA, so i have no idea on what you have over there in Europe, or where to look for the best prices.

Plus add-on mics are not the greatest.

Hi Liquid,

I have recently bought the Sennheiser PC 36 Call Control Binaural USB Headset which is priced at around $70 so just above your price range, however, I have had a really good experience with it especially for VOIP calls and the sound quality is really good for the price so I would definitely consider this as a potential headset for your needs.

I hope this helps

Thanks

Jeff
