Headphones + DAP for my grandfather

Thread Starter

Hi guys!

My grandfather is interested in getting a digital audio player and some comfortable sealed headphones for listening mainly to very old popular music and some more contemporary acoustic pop. His overall budget is around the hundred of euros. What could I buy to him?

For the player I thought about the Sansa Clip+ that is 45 bucks here in Italy on Amazon.it, but for the in-house headphones I really don't know.

What would you buy in my place?

And... could you also recommend to me even a good set of earbuds or a small portable headset for those genres of music to buy to him for when he's outside?

For the portables I thought about PX-100 II and PX-200 II, but for earbuds (not IEMs) I really don't know what I could buy.

Like always, thanks in advance.

Sansa Clip+ or the Clip Zip would probably be the best sounding mp3 player you could get in your budget range.

+1 Sansa Clip+ or Clip Zip.

Headphones, JVC HA-S400 (or S500).

+2  on the clip or clip zip. The buttons and fonts are small though. As long as that's not a problem for him then this is a good suggestion.
