Amp/dac for UE 18 PRO

I'm in the market for an amp/DAC for my UE18 PROs. I was leaning toward the Benchmark Dac2 until I read it is intended to drive headphones with impedance down to 35ohms. The UEs are 21. Are there any reference-level DAC/amp combos intended for low impedance iems? How about just amps? Thanks!

The Fiio E17 is a good value for money Amp/Dac. It's about US$150.

I'm looking around also. I have the UE18 and portability/quality are most important to me. I use my iphone a lot so going with a separate DAP means I still have to carry 2 devices. The other option is staying with Apple & getting an amp/DAC small enough to attach to the phone. But it has to be an elegant solution. AK10 maybe?

Honestly if he can afford a UE18 PRO cIEM, he could probably do a bit better than Fiio. Though Fiio is a good value I'll agree with that.

The Headroom Ultra Desktop Amp is what I'm using, along with the Headroom Ultra Desktop DAC. Works well with my Heir 8.A low impedence cIEM. It's a little bit of an investment, but later down the line, you'll thank yourself when you get a HE-6 and have nothing to drive it with ;)
