Interior Design Ideas

Thread Starter
So here I sit, proud in my bedroom, after having amassed some serious Hi-Fi kit. Sure I gots the best sound but man I need to tidy this bloody room. Its a shambles. Anyway I decided why bother clean it all up when I can get some interior designer in here and let them work their magic. I need a modern bedroom that doubles as a great looking place to listen to my Hi-Fi and watch my 56" TV.

So im thinking keep the colours polite and go with what I already have. Canadian maple that is. Is there a finer wood than that? Anyway full of ideas I decided upon googling it and much to my suprise came up with sweet F.A.

Im wanting a nice cushy carpet with half laminate and some in-ceiling lighting. A nice wardrobe and a bedside table, thats it.

Please help me spend £1000 (approx. $1.8k).

Hi Fickle-Friend,

1) The dimensions of the room????

2) Forget the «cushy carpet». In few years this «investment» will have lost much of his value.... and gain much popularity with the «acariens»....

3) Indirect lighting is easy and will move with your need and create a much better atmosphere.

4) Invest as much as you can in the «armoire» and the bedside table.

Good luck

Amicalement

P.S. Take your time: this summer I will take a few weeks just for testing colors on a project of an armoire (reproduction) that we completed last month ( few centuries old item...). This could involve real «beef blood»... we are debating the question...

Well, styles do change and perhaps its now time for a style refresh to the OPs room and the drive-by poster was just trying to be , you know, helpful , to some one

Many of these foreclosures need total interior design help, but of course @ $54 per sq ft an interior refresh is an affordable way to go
