Looking for Audiophile Headphones for around 150

I will be going to college next year and am looking for some pretty good sounding closed headphones for around 150. I'm not exactly looking for studio monitor headphones as I am looking for headphones for listening to music. Any suggestions?

I'd suggest the HD-598s. They are around $180 now on Amazon.

But those are open ear headphones and I would prefer closed for college.

Oh sorry, I missed that part. You can pick up some beyerdynamic DT 660s for around $150. Haven't listened to them though.

What sort of music do you listen to most often?

Are you planning to use an amp?

What do you think about Onkyo ES-FC300 or V-MODA Crossfade M-80?

Im currently listening to electronic music but I want a pair which can handle all genres relatively well. And I do not plan on using an amp.

M80 is a good choice. I haven't heard the Onkyo yet. Also look at UE6000.
