I saw you comment on Amazon.. Also, if you notice, two of the reviews were from people that were GIVEN the headphones.. Also, since they were offering them on Amazon, which I know from experience has a top rated return policy, I checked the one from this vendor..  Low and behold down in fine print, there is a 20% restocking fee. and I think shipping charges.

Plus, without any clear unbiased reviews, I am laying back on these.. Plus, from the price, looking at the specs, my novice mind would put these in the class of the Harmon Kardon BT, and the Sony MDR 10RBT.. Prices are about the same, I say specs are about the same too. I am quite sure performance will be the same. Now, off the top of my head, I don't think these will be in the class of the Sony MDR 1RBTMK2, Parrot Zik, or the Senn 550 X, I stand to be corrected..

Yeh I noticed that 2 of the guys were given it or won it. Didn't take their review seriously. The other 2 reviews though seemed alright with the one I commented on at least giving some objective comparisons. That is all we got for it atm and yeh I'm not wiling to risk on them either especially as Pendulumic haven't responded to my question I sent them.

No shipping info yet on my end

Shipping from Singapore is what around 3-4 weeks to the us? If nothing happens by around May 5th I'll probably get a refund through PayPal

Hopefully it works out I really enjoyed them at the meet and they're perfect for school but I can always just use my 16s as well...

Has anyone been able to confirm any sort of return policy for the S1s?

I've been using Etymotic HF3s for the past couple of years, and have been really happy with them other than a bunch of cable issues. Been through two in-warranty replacements and a headphone repair shop fix in Hong Kong.

There doesn't seem to be a good option for bluetooth earphones as of yet, and the current sale on the Pendulumic S1s is pretty interesting.

For people who tried them at the show - do they bleed a bunch? I'd like to use these at work and on the bus and not be pissing people off.

What is isolation like? The HF3s were good on plane rides and I'd hate to get something that would be noisy.

Definitely not comforting to see how quiet Pendulumic is in responding to potential customers. I'd hate to not be able to return the S1s if they didn't pan out.

I've ordered a pair of the Jaybird Bluebuds X that are currently on sale, but I'm going back and forth between those and waiting for another $150 sale on the MDR10RBT.

Am not sure I'll like can headphones after using IEMs for the past number of years - but the battery life on the bluebuds is troubling. At 6-8 hours I probably wouldn't even make it through the work day.

Shucks, I got 8 or 9 days from Hong Kong to US.. My order was from an overseas vendor too. They acknowledge the same day I paid that they go my payment, and my order was shipped the next day.. In addition, they had told me a week earliar before I order, that they were out of stock and would let me know.

Seems like this new outfit is starting off on the wrong foot. No communication whatsoever...

Is there anybody that was able to try the Pendulumic's at the meetup that could compare them to the MDR-10RBTs?

I don't remember 100%, but I'm pretty sure they were closed back, I didn't remember hearing much leakage if at all, but then again, there was like a million people talking and demoing things so hard to say :P

Well I'm not in a huge rush, I'd just like some sort of reply from them or communication haha

I mean, if they get here in perfect working condition and they're any bit as good as they were at the meet, I'll be happy. Just definitely need some sort of communication with customers or potential customers.

IMO, the MDR10RBT for $150 is a great deal.   They are going for $250+ from some vendors..

How was the isolation with loud noises around you at the meetup? I believe I read an Amazon review that made it sound like it was pretty bad.

I don't really remember 100%, I feel like I could hear a bit of the talking and stuff in the background, but I didn't really have much of a chance to play around with them for too long, nor did I get to play around with the music or anything.

I'd say it's probably less isolation than an IEM, but with the music on it's fairly comparable.

Finally heard back from Pendalumic over twitter. They've confirmed there is a 15-day return policy and that the headphones wouldn't have to be returned all the way to Signapore, but that's all I've been able to get out of them. The head-fi deal has been extended to 4/23. Thinking of pulling the trigger if I can get an estimated ship date from them.

Well, pulled the trigger on some STANCE S1's. Hoping I won't wish I had waited for the MDR-10RBTs instead. They've said they should be in my hands by next Monday, so I'll come back here for a writeup once I have em.

I am going to wait for you to pull the trigger and fire the bullet on the Pendalumic S1. A lot of us have asked questions directly, and no response, but they reply on twitter..

Cool, I am leaning toward these are winners, their production and marketing team are a little slow, but I think they are going to have a great product. Yes, the MDR 10RBT for that $150 price, is a super deal. They are selling those upward of $270..
