FSOT: Killer portable combo with one of a kind case (ETY ER4S/RSA SR-71)
Will Ship To: Anywhere
A few years back I was flying over 200,000 miles a year and I made this killer portable rig.
It features the Etymotic ER4S IEM's with the original Ray Samuels SR-71 amp. A case made moded from a small digital camera case and a mini-to mini from headphone.com (Plus a sendstation line-out, but It is not for new iphones)
I do not travel and have small kids now so this one of a kind rig needs to go to a good home. Both the Amp and headphones were purchased from Todd The Vinyl Junkie in 2006.
This is to be sold all together and I am sorry but I will NOT SELL PIECES INDIVIDUALLY
I am looking for $450 in cash or a trade.
The only trade I am interested in are high-end IEM's that do NOT need to be amped (under 35 ohms is ideal) i.e. Shure SE425 etc. Would consider a deal that includes cash/earphones. I don't want to spend any $$
Specifics on the unit:
ER4P's are in perfect working condition and sound great. Include original case, mini to stereo adapter and filter tool. New ear pieces are needed (I have one pair of unused tri-flange that will come with. I figure I will leave it to the buyer to order new tips based on preference. You will also need to order filters, though the current ones in the headphones are new and good and will last awhile.
I have dropped my price from $495 to $450 to reflect these purchases needed.
SR-71 is also perfect. I just paid Samuels $40 to inspect and tweak the unit to get it back to new. Just got it back- sounds awesome.
There is some wear on the front lettering as you can see in the photo. I shaved the feet a little to get this amp to fit perfectly in the case. This was all done because this case is about perfect sound and true plug and go portability.
This rig hides all wires, IEM's stow perfectly with amp and can easily be slipped into a large coat pocket or messenger bag and used.
The Sendstation was used on an old ipod G4- you can have it if you want but sure will be useless to the buyer. Just purchase an lineout adapter based on what you are listening to.
Happy to answer all reasonable offers and questions.
