Looking for a 2.5mm to 3.5mm Flat Audio Cable

I'm not sure why this is so difficult to find as I would think there would be dozens of companies making these, but I can not seem to find any 2.5mm to 3.5mm flat audio cables. I recently got some Harman/Kardon BT headphones and I love them, but I would prefer a flat wire for when I use them in wired mode. I've seen a bunch of 2.5mm to 2.5mm and 3.5mm to 3.5mm flat audio cables, but I have not been able to find even one 2.5mm to 3.5mm flat audio cable.

Does anyone know where I can purchase one? I've tried eBay, Amazon, and Monoprice but no luck.

Hello Spartoi.

I just picked up HK Classic and funny that you mentioned about the cables. I have a pair of Zagg wooden headphones that are 2.5mm to the cups and 3.5mm to the source but these cans are dual plugs. Anyhow when I got the Zaggs, the cable wire was so thin and frail that I needed to find a replacement before they wore out. I was able to find one through Sol Republic but I am not sure if they sell a single plug only. I get my HK's tomorrow and will try looking for a replacement cable for a backup. If I do find one, I will let you know and if you happen to find one then please let me know. Good luck!

Yes I'll post a link to any 2.5mm to 3.5mm flat audio cable if I find one, but I'm kinda doubting they even exists.

I will probably compromise by getting a small 2.5mm (male) to 3.5mm (female) adapter and using a regular flat 3.5mm audio cable.

I've purchased the adapter below as it somewhat matches HK's design (metal, albeit shiny) and should retain mic support on the headset.

Or might get these as I prefer matte black but these won't have TRRS (mic) support and they are kinda ugly tbh:

I don't think they make flat cables for this type of cables. I found some decent looking cables but they are pricey with the added shipping.
The silver connector adapter would match your headphone. Btw, how do you like the HK's? I took a chance on Amazon 1 day sale and couldn't resist almost 70% off the original price plus the fact HK's reputation pretty much sealed the deal for me.

Here's that link

Well I still have the 2.5mm to 3.5mm cable that came with my headphones, I just wanted flat one so buying that AKG one won't do much for me.

I like the HK BT's quite a bit. Although I'm not an audiophile at all, these sound quite nice. My only complaint would be the over the ear style, which I normally like, but these can get uncomfortable over time (repositioning helps).

Btw, I recall seeing the CLs on Amazon for like $67 a couple days ago. Is that the one day sale that you were referring to? Because i got my HK BTs refurbished for $97 at Harman Audio website. A $30 bump for wireless and better audio quality (going off comparisons) seems like it would be worth it to me.

Yes I did purchase it from Amazon's 1 day sale for that price. I also picked up Fiio E12 headphone amp which after reading a lot of reviews is a good quality, value priced amp. I would like to see after burning in the phones if I will be able to hear a sound difference. If I don't then I can always return it. What source are you using for your music? ( ipod, computer, phone )

Computer and phone (Nexus 4). I also use the BTs with my PS4 via controller for late night gaming.
