Hello to the community of Head-Fi!
I'm really new to this and don't have any experiences when it comes to headphones(owned a AVG(80$ open), Sennheiser(45$ in-ears), and recently switched to a cheap Sony(35$ open, which lasted only ONE MONTH!!))... I used to listen with cheap earphones but my brain explosed pretty shortly due to the squeakiness... ...(I'm somebody who virtually listens to music all the time, even while dinner etc, etc...)
And all of them broke after 6 months of use! To be honest only one ear lose its sound while the other one still works... it always happens to be that case. I figured that the reason was due to the jack/cord snapped or something thanks to the tension...I'm a person who goes outdoor with my headphones on, and sometimes accidents happen due to brusque movements so... no wonder they break so easily (sighhh...)
I don't have much money to buy new pairs any more so I decided to go to the dollar store and buy cheap ones but my ears couldn't stand them! So I figured it might be better to ask experts for the subject on how to take care/repair your headphones.
So anyone has an idea of what I should do? I want to buy a new headphone again but I need those that have very, very durable cords... I don't have the cash right now so I'm saving for a really good one and see if it'll break or not overtime... or better, is there a way to fix my old ones?
