10 year old Grado RS-1's good for home theater?

Hello all! I have a unique situation here.... Because I have suddenly become budget constrained, I am looking for some advice.

Was wondering if anyone is using these cans for Home Theater?  If so, which DAC are you using and/or separate amp?

I am going to use a Coax output from Direct TV to go into a DAC I think.  Are Grado RS1's good for home theater?

Kind of a weird question. What do you want out of a headphone for home theater? Nothing will have a proper soundstage, though I guess I'd rather go with something open and airy with a sense of soundstage than RS-1s, but that all depends on preferences. RS-1s prob are overkill in that I don't really see movies taking advantage of their lively sound, but I can see enjoying that aspect with movies nonetheless.

I don't enjoy listening to the spoken voice on Grados because of the treble peaks. (I use my Fostex for that.)
