Sennheiser PC 350 In need of repair

Hey guys,

Have a pair of sennhesier PC 350's with half of the cable severed. Is this self-repairable? I'm looking to avoid spending the 70~ bucks on a non-warranty repair.

Bottom right end is a mess of wires that should be connected to the top left part.

This is most likely possible to repair but would take a lot of trail and error of re-soldering the wires to the correct solder points in the 'remote control'.

Might be worth getting some crocodile clips so you can test which cables should go where on the solder points before you solder them.

The hardest part is opening up the remote control in a way that doesn't destroy it so it can be taped back up and remain useful.
