headphone for Titanium HD?

Hi looking to upgrade my headphone to go with TiHD, doesn't matter open or closed, as long as it sounds good and fits comfortably with a budget <$230, here are some candidates,

Sennheiser HD558

Sennheiser HD598

Beyerdynamic DT 440

audio technica ath-ad700

audio technica ath-ad900 (a bit over the budget, but if it offers a lot better, will still consider, wondering will this be overkill for an un-amped TiHD?)

I like clear, natural sound with a tough of bass

The Ti-HD's headphone output has a 35-Ohm impedance :(

Technically you would want a headphone that is 280-Ohms (35 X 8= 280), but that's not really practical.

AKG K612 Pro (120-Ohm) headphone should work with the Ti-HD.

With a Schiit Magni headphone amplifier ($99) hook up to the Ti-HD's RCA jack, you would be able to use just about any headphone.

Just curious. You said "upgrade my headphone." What headphones do you currently have and what do you like (or not like) about them? Might help people to even better target suggestions. smily_headphones1.gif

1. upgrade without getting an extra amp, what should i get?

2. upgrade with an amp like the one mentioned above, whats the best fit?
