Brand new here, really inexperienced in headphones.

Hello, this is my first post here. I was doing some research on headphones(over the ear, I have sensitive ears and in-ear/on-ear hurt my ears) and ran across this website. I'm looking for something in the range of under $200, most bang for my buck. I don't want a headset that doesn't have a removable cord as I seem to wear out static cords very quickly. I had a corsair 1500, and a Logitech G70(broke both). I found a V-Moda LP2 that I can purchase for $80 after some rebates I have, I'd like someone's opinion on if I should go for it, or if it's not really the thing for me. I like a very large range of music, I mainly listen to some calmer film scores, classical, and baroque. I do listen to some rock, mostly calmer, and some electronic, but I don't like bass heavy music very much as my ears are very sensitive. I have Astro A40's also, but I honestly don't think they sound that great, they have a distinct "tin can" noise to them.

The main things I'm looking for:

Clear sound, no muffled or "tin can" sounds.

Removable cord.

Over the ear.

Comfortable, low level of head pinch, but not more loose like the Astro A40's I use sometimes.

Sorry about the odd flow of this post, it's 5 AM here, and I got an hour of sleep last night(27 hours ago).

Thanks for any help and or advice in advance.

You should take a closer look at Sennheiser HD598 or HD558.
